  Wake up and smell the coffee

   

  There are hundreds of coffee roasters in the UK, but only one Dark Woods, our first choice for all our Specialty Coffee. The award-winning Dark Woods is less than 10 miles from Nowhere and is our favourite roaster – the team there source their beans from some of the best independent producers across the world. We also love their ethical approach and their dedication to sustainability, which is very much aligned with our philosophy here at Nowhere.

   

  Paul is a founding director of Dark Woods and will be talking all things coffee with special tastings too – accompanied by some Nowhere nibbles.

   

  This Dark Woods specialty coffee event includes:

   

  // Welcome drink on arrival (coffee of course)

  // What is “Specialty Coffee”?

  // Learn how origin, altitude, species and roast affect coffee flavour

  // Introduction to brewing principles.

  // Learn what factors make coffee taste like it does and why the flavours can vary so much. Take part in a “cupping” (tasting) of a range of coffee styles as well as pick up some essential brewing tips.

  Meet Our Brewer, Sat 12 July

  Come down to Nowhere on the 12th of July, 3-5pm to meet our brewer, Doug.

   

  Enjoy six 1/3 pints of different beers (and light bites from our kitchen) and get an in depth guide through the process of making beer.

   

  Whether you’re an keen home-brewer looking to improve your skills and knowledge, or just a plain-and-simple beer nerd, this is for you!
